discipline); B.M. Rozhestvensky (proposed new methods of field experiment);

Thus, agricultural research case as a natural science discipline, the theoretical basis of
which forms a multilevel complex of sciences, was actively developed, based on
generalization and improvement of theoretical and methodological tools.
The factors of institutionalization of branch research case, preconditions for the
further formation of its academic model are determined and characterized. The
researcher proved that the intensification of the development of agricultural science in
the Ukrainian SSR at the turn of the 20–30’s of the twentieth century mainly depended
on socio-economic and political changes in the society, state policy in the agricultural
sector.
In the harsh conditions of forming the foundations of the command-
administrative system, with the aim of socialist reconstruction of agriculture on the
basis of industrialization and collectivization, the process of nationalizing science
unfolded by the method of coercive and repressive measures.
In 1929–1930 before the
agricultural sector, the task was to increase the area of sown area by 10.1 %, including
grain crops – by 8.3 %, technical – 8.6 %, sugar beet – by 16.6 %.
It was supposed to
increase the yield of grain crops – 15 % and livestock by 14 % compared to 1928–1929.
The paper presents the results of the analysis of the peculiarities of organizational
forms of the branch research case in the 1920’s. The regional principle of building
agricultural experimental case provided scientific support for agricultural production
according to the regions, grouped into zones depending on the nature of the natural
geographic and economic conditions of the country.
The regional scientific research
organization, which included regional agricultural research station, district agricultural
stations and special stations carried out a scientific research program in each area:
Polissya, Forest-steppe right bank (Kiev), Forest-steppe left bank (Kharkiv), East-steppe
(Dnipropetrovsk), West-steppe (Odessa).
In this structure, the district agricultural
research stations developed their programs in accordance with the problems of the most
important branches of agricultural production in the area.
The analytical and synthetic
role of determining the natural and agricultural factors of each region within the districts
belonged mainly to the district agricultural stations, which performed a coordinating
