urgency of the scientific and historical study of the genesis of scientific-organizational,
theoretical, and methodological principles of the functioning of agrarian science in
Ukraine in the late 20–30’s of the twentieth century.
An important task of the research examination was an analysis of the
development of theoretical and methodological approaches in the organization of
agricultural science and research case in Ukraine in the studied period. The responder
substantiated that agricultural research case is a complex scientific discipline that
studies natural phenomena in order to obtain new knowledge as a method for realizing
food needs of the population. The theoretical basis of agricultural research case is the
sciences of objects and subjects of agriculture, methodological tools formulate field and
laboratory methods, which in a differentiated form evolve in accordance with scientific
and methodological changes. The development of agricultural research case provides by
three independent systems – agriculture, agricultural education and branch research
case, which have undergone long historical stages of origin, formation and continued
their further development.
The results of the research suggest that agriculture characterized by the
establishment of collective forms of labor organization and planned economy of the
national economy of the USSR in the late 20–30’s of the twentieth century. The
scientific and organizational support for the development of agriculture in this period is
determined by the process of formation with the simultaneous search for optimal
organizational forms of the branch service.
Higher educational institutions as the
Kharkiv Veterinary Institute, the Kharkiv Institute of Agriculture and Forestry, the
Faculty of Agronomy of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute and the Department of Crop
Growing at the Universities of Kyiv and Novorossiysk, and the Faculty of Agriculture
of the Kamyanets-Podilsky University provided agrarian education.
The analysis showed that during the investigated period such scientists became
