Summary

This historical exploration is devoted to the study of the development of Ukrainian industrial horticulture organization at the beginning of the twentieth century, in particular the First All-Ukrainian Horticultural Conference (1928). The main attention is focused on solving issues on the transfer of reconstructive measures for the Ukrainian horticulture development. The main directions of work are described, such as: issues on pomology and seedlings planting, as well as the organization of group gardens. The conference recognized the creation of integrated zonal research stations and the establishment of the Institute of Horticulture with a network of integrated zonal stations in Ukraine, to be the high-priority tasks for Ukrainian horticulture. It is proved that the First All-Ukrainian Conference initiated the large-scale works in the direction of organizing and reorganizing domestic horticulture. The author carried out her historical exploration using general scientific methods: analysis, synthesis and historical methods.
