In the course of analyzing the structure of the flow of publications on the conceptual issues of organizing information support for the sectors of agro-industrial production in Ukraine during 1991–2020, by applying a specially developed methodological approach, it was divided into two separate streams – scientific works on fundamental problems and publications of an applied nature significant prevalence of scientific papers on specialized fundamental topics over publications devoted to the implementation of the results of the development of these fundamental problem has been established. This moment on base of the results of the analysis of the dynamics of the sources of the studied publication flow, made it possible to draw conclusions regarding the inertia of the process of developing conceptual issues of organizing information providing for the agricultural industry in Ukraine during the studied period. The main reason for this was the spontaneous emergence and organizational disformalization of a structure specializing in specialized fundamental research, which did not allow sufficient concentration of relevant scientific resources and determining the current vector of their orientation.
